Terms of Service - CEMCDII Academic Portal (CEMCDII)

01. Agreement & Acceptance

By creating an account, submitting an admission application, logging into the portal at https://portal.cemcdii.org, or accessing any academic management feature, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service, as well as all applicable institutional regulations of Child Development International Institute (CEMCDII).

If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from accessing or using the CEMCDII Academic Portal.

02. User Accounts & Credentials Security

2.1 Account Authorization: Access to portal features is granted based on assigned institutional roles (e.g. Student, Lecturer, Course Coordinator, Admission Officer, Administrator, Super Administrator). Users must only access features permitted by their assigned role.

2.2 Password Protection: Users are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their login credentials (username, matriculation code, and passkey password). You agree not to share your password with any third party.

2.3 Unauthorized Access Notification: If you suspect any unauthorized access, account compromise, or security incident, you must notify the Super Administrator or Academic Registry immediately.

03. Academic Integrity & Acceptable Use

Users agree to use the portal strictly for lawful academic and administrative purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Submitting false, fraudulent, or altered academic credentials or legacy claim documents.
Attempting to modify, forge, or tamper with course grades, marks, transcripts, or payment receipts.
Bypassing or attempting to bypass security authentication gates, role boundaries, or session security headers.
Using automated bots, scrapers, or malicious scripts against portal endpoints or API services.
Engaging in any conduct that disrupts the operation, performance, or availability of the Academic Portal.

🌐 Integrated Systems & Google Workspace APIs

Google Workspace & External Integrations

4.1 Automated Record Mirroring: The portal integrates with Google Sheets API and Google Drive API to maintain synchronized institutional archives. By using the portal, users acknowledge that administrative ledgers (student profiles, academic records, fee ledgers, and document registers) are automatically backed up to designated CEMCDII Google Workspace repositories.

4.2 Google API Policy Adherence: All Google Workspace integrations operate under strict compliance with the CEMCDII Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, adhering to Limited Use rules.

4.3 Payment Gateway Integration: Payment verification features utilize secure payment gateways. Users acknowledge that tuition transactions are subject to the processing terms of our authorized payment processors.

05. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, course outlines, pedagogical materials, examination questions, portal software code, branding assets, logos, and academic certificates displayed on or generated by the CEMCDII Academic Portal remain the exclusive intellectual property of Child Development International Institute (CEMCDII). Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

06. Account Termination & Suspension

CEMCDII reserves the right to suspend, lock, or permanently deactivate any user account that violates these Terms of Service, engages in academic misconduct, attempts unauthorized system manipulation, or fails to satisfy financial tuition obligations. Suspended accounts may be reviewed by the Governing Board.

07. Disclaimer & Registry Contact

While CEMCDII strives to ensure continuous, uninterrupted availability and accuracy of portal services, the portal is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. CEMCDII shall not be liable for temporary network disruptions, third-party hosting delays, or force majeure events beyond its control.
